Description
It is an anthology of music I composed for a string quartet over the last 15 years. Some of the pieces were commissioned by dance and ballet companies. The red thread linking these various different pieces has a fictitious name: a highland. A paradox, a piece and a turbulence, bright and cold sunshine, loneliness and yearning, dance over an abyss, an angel’s remembrance.

When a person is born he enters the outer world and begins to study it -unknown light, dark, noise, touches. Growing up a person sees in previous unformed subjects and unclear contours more distinct outlines. Light dispenses into multiple shades of colours. Voices and music are distinguished in noise. A person begins to absorb new wonderful sensations and fill his soul with them. During many years of the life when our inner life is overfull with feelings, emotions, knowledge, memories we feel the necessity to return them back to the outer world, we do this by many ways: by words, by gestures, by music. A circle is complete. Outer world and our inner world are united by Absolute Love and Spirit.
A very talented musician Boris Kovac has chosen music for talking with us, his music is the way of transfer of his inner senses: suffering, pain, fears, hopes, dreams, love, compassion, memories. His music is deep, we can hear the shadow of sad, trouble, loss. We hear also the victory of love, happiness, and hope. The character of his music depends on his inner state and the events that have happened in his life. He writes and works much because of the overflowing soul’s emotions tend to be shared with listeners, that brings peace and relief to his soul. The music by Boris Kovac is open, passionate, sincere. The musician sees the Truth. He understands how to preserve the balance on our earth. His inner protests and fights are heard in numerous talented musical compositions which are penetrated by love and care of his people and motherland where he was born and where he was blessed to become the Master.
His musical compositions are worthy of high praise and estimation. Let’s wish the musician a long creative life and new amazing works.
