Description

Recorded in October 2016 at KacharaMMstudio Bukovac, Serbia.
Recorded and mixed by Boris Kovač. Mastered by Stevan Kovacs Tickmayer.
Designed by Tamara Jakovović.

Ultima Armonia, “ultimate harmony”, is perhaps the ultimate piece of improvised music born out of the collaboration of three Kovac artists.
Stevan and Boris began this journey almost 40 years ago, with Lav – a much younger musician – successfully joining them in 2011. This music may often sound as though it were methodically composed, and yet it is an entirely free improvisational work, created without any prior plan.

No doubt it evolved out of a common “geo-poetic” context – the context of the world of the Pannonian region – which can be identified in the music… moulded out of a specific experience of  Time and in a pallet of moods and hues – from the melancholic, to the nostalgic, to the ecstatic.
This music is on a quest for harmony, a harmony that has gone missing in today’s world and in today’s music…
